Basic Suturing Course 2025

The Basic Suturing Techniques webinar is a one-day, in-person training program organized by White Coat Academy for medical students. The workshop aims to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in surgical suturing.

The program includes a theoretical session covering suture materials, needle types, basic suturing techniques, and core surgical principles, followed by supervised hands-on practice at individual workstations. Participants will practice simple interrupted, horizontal mattress, and vertical mattress sutures on synthetic models under instructor guidance.

Interactive mini quizzes will be used throughout the program to reinforce learning. Each participant will receive a complete suturing training kit for use during the workshop, which will be given as a takeaway at the end of the course.

The workshop is delivered by experienced physicians and academic instructors, with limited participant numbers to ensure close instructor–participant interaction. Participation certificates will be provided after completion of the workshop.
